CERTIFICATION OF BUILDING MATERIALS AND STRUCTURES

Benefit from TÜV Austria’s strengths and know-how in materials science

As a notified body, TÜV Austria offers the following list of services to companies producing materials (semi-finished products) and building structures:

  • Audit and certification of producers of materials and semi-finished products according to AD-2000 Merkblatt-W0, TRD100, KTA 3201.1, KTA 3211.1, Directive PED 97/23/EC (Annex 1, paragraph 4.3)
  • Evaluation and certification of producers of materials and semi-finished products in accordance with CPD Directive 89/106/EC and harmonized standards EN 10025, EN 10210, EN 10219, EN 10255, EN 10088, EN 15088
  • Certification and supervision of steel structures according to EN-1090-2009 and DIN-18800/7
  • Consulting services in materials science
  • Performance of specific material assessments (PMA) according to PED 97/23/EC (Appendix 1, paragraph 4.3)
  • Carrying out material inspections with or without a PMA
  • Preparation or verification of material technical specifications (e.g. VdTÜV)
  • Materials analysis
  • Damage analysis and assessment
  • Metallographic inspections
